4 weeks today!!!

Since my last post it has been 4 weeks...we have been very busy at the Burd house...

Finnlee Jameson Burd was born!!!! Our family is now complete!

Our family is very blessed this Thanksgiving! We have been blessed with a beautiful home, 2 heathly sweet boys, wonderful family, and a lifetime of memories!

Our last "Family of 3" weekend!

We started off our last "Family of 3" weekend by waking up and eating a great breakfast.  Denny made the coffee as usual...with our  favorite pumpkin creamer, so yummy! After breakfast we all, well everyone but myself,  went out to wash the Tahoe. (someone had to take the pictures ;-)...)  Bray was a great help for daddy though!

Pumpkin Carving Party Time!!!!

Bray was so cute getting the "guts" out of his pumpkin!  Too bad I wasn't able to get a picutre, had the "guts" on my hands as well!

I love this family we have... even if it's not perfect!  It's for the Burds...and that's alright with me!

Finnlee James Burd Count down:

So last night Mama came over to eat dinner with us, and Brayden of course wanted to go "pend the night".  Well after packing his bag and loving everyone bye bye, including Peyton and Chandler (our two dogs), he climbed into the car and drove off talking about how he was going to go get a milk shake at his Nana and Papa's house.  We let me just inform you he was speaking the truth! 

 He called after he got there and was so excited how he, Nana., and Papa were all having a milk shake.  Well it weren't 30 minutes later he was crying wanting to come home! lol   That boy had no intentions of "pending the night"!  He just went over to have a milk shake!

And to top it all off  when Denny and I got there to pick him up he says to us, "I ready to go, all done with my milk shake!"  What a little STINKER!

We have also finalized our halloween costumes for the boys:

Days left before Finnlee Jameson Burd Arrives:

It's almost time for Finnlee!

This past Tuesday, Brayden and I went to the OB office and found out that we will have a scheduled C-section on October 26th!  Denny and I are so excited that Finnlee Jameson will be here before Halloween! 

We are literally counting down the days! 

Over the last few days we have been searching for Brayden a Halloween costume...here are a few of our favs:

I'm sure you can tell which ones I picked out vs the ones Denny picked out! And Bray wants to be EVERYTHING!



A BURDen has been lifted!

We have almost finished with Finnlee's nursery!  Walls have been painted a beautiful "GRASSHOPPER" green...Brayden helped pick it out.  (I think he really only like the name)  The bedding is finished and the valance has been hung!  It looks amazing! Well worth every penny!  (picutes to come..for some reason my camera batteries are dead..AGAIN!)

Brayden has been especially clingy lately...I don't know if it is that he misses me after I have worked several 12 hour shifts in a row or that he knows Finnlee will be here soon and he might not recieve all the attention he is used to..either way I am TRYING to have patience with him and understand that some regression is a normal healthy part of a new sibling coming into his life.

For those of you who may not know we have decided on the name Finnlee Jameson for our new little addition!  We are in love with the name and hope it suits him well!

Just a little laugh Brayden gave me this morning....
Background:  we always say "what in the ham sandwich" instead of saying an "ugly" word in front of Brayden....
Today Brayden was looking for a part to his puzzle...
Me: "Did you look underneath the couch"
Brayden: "What in the ham sandwich is this under the couch"
Come to find out it was a set of light up reindeer antlers that are left over from last Cristmas that he likes to play with...lol !
THE THINGS HE SAYS!  MAYBE HE REALLY DOES LISTEN AFTER ALL!

Maybe one day!

As many of you may know, we are in our new house and loving it!  However it's not "finished"!  The decor to say the least is not where I would like it to be, however I have it all planned out:

Master Bedroom

We will just have to see what the finished product turns out to be, but I'm loving the planning!
